The 13th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, HCI International 2009, will be held jointly with the affiliated Conferences in the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center, in San Diego, California, USA, 19-24 July 2009.
It will cover a broad spectrum of themes related to Human Computer Interaction, including theoretical issues, methods, tools, processes, and case studies in HCI design, as well as novel interaction techniques, interfaces, and applications. The program will feature, among others: pre-conference half-day and full-day tutorials, parallel sessions, poster presentations, an opening session with a keynote address, and an exhibition including demonstrations by industrial companies.
Abstract submission for paper, tutorial, and poster/demonstration proposals for HCI International 2009 is now open through the Conference Management System (CMS).
Prospective authors will need to create their individual account by filling-in an Account Signup Form with the CMS in order to proceed with abstract submission. Once they have created their account, they can login into the CMS and submit an abstract, view their submission(s), and update their account and contact information.
Registration to the Conference will also be available through the CMS at a later stage.
The Conference Proceedings, comprising the papers to be presented at the Conference, will be published by Springer in a multi-volume set in the LNCS and LNAI series. They will be available on–line through the LNCS Digital Library, readily accessible by all subscribing libraries around the world. All Conference participants will receive in their registration bags the Conference Proceedings published by Springer in DVD format. This DVD will also include, in addition to the papers, the extended abstracts of the posters that will be presented during the Conference. As the DVD will have its own separate ISBN number, posters can also be easily referenced.
For the Call for Participation and further information, please visit the Conference website.
